The training has been designed from our combined 20 years of experience & research in virtual excursions and is all about helping STEM organisations transition to online delivery This introductory course combines three 90-minute online sessions that will help you to learn digital engagement essentials, best practices in engaging community audience in STEM, and partnering for impact. It is free to all those who deliver science engagement programs as part of Inspiring Australia’s national network, delivered in partnership with State Governments. Sessions are available to people who deliver STEM programs across Australia. All sessions will be supported by free downloadable resources to review in your own time and assist you when delivering your programs. Web conferencing 101 essentials Learn from Australia’s expert science engagement practitioners on getting your setup, technology and fail-safe practice nailed in this 90-minute session. It will cover how to set up and deliver your event or program online, meeting security needs, what to avoid and how to create a professional, successful, engaging session for your audience.
