Last week I was incredibly honoured to receive both the University of Technology Sydney Chancellor’s Award for Excellence and the Faculty Award of Excellence: Science at the 2023 UTS Alumni Awards. To be amongst these amazing people and to hear their stories was an amazing experience. Learn more about these awards here.
With UTS Chancellor Catherine Livingstone AO
Well done to all of the recipients and many thanks to Steven Langford for nominating me, to James Wallman and all the science faculty staff. Additionally, this would have been possible without the support of my Fizzics Education & Virtual Excursions Australia colleagues, the opportunities afforded to me by the Winston Churchill Trust (Australia) and the AMP Tomorrow Makers program as well as my family and friends. Finally, the work done by the UTS Alumni & the UTS Young Alumni to create connections amongst all graduates is incredible!
