Science on camera!

Last night we were invited by The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust to film a series of segments with Blue Clay Creatives as part of helping to spread the message of the Churchill Fellowships to a new generation. The Churchill Trust has partnered with NBCUniversal and Focus Features to tie-in with the upcoming film, ‘The Darkest Hour’ a film where Gary Oldman portrays Sir Winston Churchill during the height of the Battle of Britain. Many thanks to Kings Langley Little Athletics Center and Holy Cross Glenwood for your help with spreading the word and Blacktown Council for the venue!

What is a Churchill Fellowship?

A Churchill Fellowship is a travelling fellowship for Australians who are excelling in any field of endeavour and are needing to travel overseas to extend their knowledge and to share that knowledge with their profession. I was fortunate to gain the 2013 Northern Districts (Sydney) Churchill Fellowship, where my I travelled to museums, zoos, aquariums, schools across North America and more to learn best practices in science education via video conference. You can check out some of the venues I went to, as well as the full Fellowship report that was produced.
