Here is just a short selection of science competitions that give an opportunity for your students to shine! Global school science competitions Google Science Fair Share your best idea with the world. High School – Ages 13 to 18 By Google® Big Science Competition Answer questions draw on real-life examples and contemporary issues to test skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and scientific literacy. High School – Ages 12 to 16 By Australian Science Innovations F1 in SchoolsTM Teams of students deploy CAD/CAM software to collaborate, design, analyse, manufacture, test, and then race miniature compressed air powered balsa wood F1 cars. Since 2014, they have invited two teams each year for two weeks with full cost covered to perform their proposed experiments together with professional scientists. High School By CERN Clean Tech Competition A worldwide research and design challenge for 15-18-year-old pre-college youth that encourages scientific understanding of real-world issues and the integration of environmentally responsible energy sources.
