Ben was absolutely fantastic – he was funny, engaging and the feedback on the show from both the kids and parents was fabulous! Ben also had the challenge of dealing with numbers that far exceeded any of our expectations, based on planning from previous years – which Ben also handled amazingly.  So I just wanted to take this opportunity to pass on this feedback to Fizzics Education, but also for you to pass on the Ben as we think he is a fantastic asset to your team.

I just wanted to say thank you to Harley who came out to St. Benedict’s Primary school. What a fantastic experience for the children and teachers alike. We had a wonderful learning experience and he was a credit to your company.

I just wanted to say what a fantastic time our students had at the Geology Rocks incursion at Eastlakes Public School today. They learned so much and couldn’t stop talking about all the great activities. The teachers were equally impressed with the professional development session after school. Ben was a wealth of information and made it easy for the students to understand what they had to do. His workshop for the teachers was informative and entertaining. Thanks for a great day.

I just wanted to pass on how wonderful we thought Jeanette was. She was a vibrant and enthusiastic presenter, she engaged the students really well and was very professional throughout the session. It was a pleasure to have her present to our students.

Ben was great! He was very engaging and was able to answer student questions. He looked like he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing which created a great atmosphere! The show was very informative and engaging! We would highly recommend Ben and the show to any of our colleagues.

All of the students and teachers who attended the ‘Forces, Friction and Movement’ workshop on Monday thoroughly enjoyed the experience, particularly the nature of the presenter and the hands-on activities you provided. One of our school focus points is that we encourage our students to be active learners and that’s exactly what your program allowed our students to do! Our students were able to actively engage and participate in their own learning and they loved it! They were also able to make connections to their current science topic as well as their everyday life experiences, and develop their knowledge and understanding of scientific forces and movements.

I have received such positive feedback from both teachers and students commenting on the workshop and also the energy and presentation of the presenter – the kids loved her! There has been very positive feedback from the natural disaster incursion presented by Ben on Monday! Thank you for your time and efforts.

I would like to take a moment to express our gratitude for the wonderful workshops Holly provided this week for our students at the John Berne School, Lewisham. On arrival I explained to Holly the nature of our students. Each student has a disability encompassing learning difficulties, behaviour disorders and mental health issues. Holly appeared unperturbed by my disclosure and confidently assured me she had much experience with students of all limitations and would endeavour to run her workshops with this in mind.

We couldn’t be more pleased with Holly’s professional manner and easy going nature. She made her verbal explanations accessible to the students and catered each workshop right at the level of our student’s intellectual capabilities and behavioural needs. Holly’s vast knowledge and great enthusiasm for all things scientific was evident and truly helped to keep our students engaged and interested for each 40 minute workshop. Keeping our students engaged for this length of time is difficult at the best of times. But for Holly to be an unknown educator to our students in a subject which many of our students find boring and she could still manage to keep them behaving and listening is credit to her wonderful capacity as an educator. The students truly appreciated the knowledge they have gained and the fun they had watching such innovative and exciting experiments.

All the Year 1 teachers of Manly Village Public School want to thank you for the interesting and informative Light and Sound incursion that Ben delivered to us yesterday. The children were shown many different examples of how light and sound work such as the Newton’s wheel, the slinky and the shadows on the screen. Ben was very professional and enthusiastic and gave simple explanations that the year 1 students could understand. He arrived early and was set up and ready to go at the arranged times. Many thanks for the educational show and we will be sure to recommend Fizzics Education to other teachers in our school and other colleagues.

A very BIG thank you to you and your team for the successful workshops you ran on Friday night. After a quick talk with the kids this morning they were still very much on a high about the night. I specifically asked them about the workshops and they thought they were all excellent. As one child put it, “I didn’t know we were having professionals run the workshops, I thought it was just going to be the teachers!”. I was concerned that by the third workshop they would be a bit flat but you all managed to keep them entertained right to the end. Well done!! I also appreciated your flexibility through out the planning stages and the evening. Thanks again for an astronomical night!

Many thanks for a fantastic day last week. The Big Science Show got rave reviews from both children and adults alike. Our students loved their robotics session and now have more confidence to go on with their explorations.

We would like to let you know that the children enjoyed themselves and there was a lot of discussion afterwards about different activities, especially the ‘hair raising’ ones. We would also like to let Holly know that she was wonderful, ‘outstanding’ actually and presented the workshops in such an interesting and engaging manner for the students.  The teachers were very impressed.  So thanks very much!

All students were totally engaged in the hands-on activities and extremely attentive during the demonstrations. Well planned, age appropriate and promoted higher order and lateral thinking. Highly recommended.
