Beebot Robotics

An interactive hands-on workshop designed to demonstrate to younger kids how a robot really works!

Programming and logic for younger students

Using a simple intuitive interface, kids learn to program the Beebot to move forward, turn, stop, flashlights and make sounds, all within themed challenges designed to teach children planning and spatial awareness.
Each Beebot can store up to 40 steps, with each step having flashing lights and sounds to confirm it is stored.

Students will work in pairs or threes as they are guided through a series of challenge mats and obstacles.
This engaging workshop offers students a chance to learn real-time programming in a fun atmosphere.
Additionally, it’s great for children learn about coordinates and sequential reasoning. Great holiday program fun!

Every holiday period, Fizzics Education present holiday programs workshops for local council libraries, vacation care centres, OOSHC and at our own venues. These workshops are designed to cater for a wide range of ages, even the adults join in! Book early to avoid disappointment. A school holiday program treat!

Fun holiday science workshop for younger kids

Lots of fun things for kids to do!
Your classroom or school hall area can be setup with maze challenges, obstacle courses or anything that the kids would enjoy to explore.

The key to the session is that it is about creativity, once they know how to use the Beebots they can start to solve challenges given to them or simply create their own challenges for other kids to solve.

This engaging workshop offers children 5 to 7 years old a chance to learn about robots in a fun atmosphere. Additionally the children learn to work as a team, an essential preparatory step for entering school.
Book with our Lego robotics so that older kids can enjoy some holiday robotics fun too!

Appropriate for Ages 4 to 7 with a maximum of 30 students per class Older children can also participate in this workshop; however we recommend Lego Robotics program for your consideration as the Beebots workshop is a platform designed for younger children. Access to at least 2 electrical power sockets with a wide floor space. Chairs are not required. Duration 60 minutes Set up time 30 minutes and pack up time 30 minutes.	During Social Distancing – Contact us and we’ll tailor a program to suit both your site and the State’s social distancing requirements. Further details here
