Puentes H. is Co-Founder and Executive Director of San Diego Squared (SD2.org), a nonprofit focused in increasing diversity in STEM-driven companies through partnerships, programs, and financial support for high school students, college students, and their educators. Prior to starting SD2,H. served on the leadership team at CONNECT where he founded CONNECT ALL @ the Jacobs Center – the region’s first diversity-focused startup accelerator and business resource centre. To date, H. has raised over $6M to increase diversity in tech and the life sciences. Prior to his work in diversity and inclusion, H. drove marketing at a venture-backed Bay area startup, worked as a management consultant in London, and served as regional director for an international non-profit.
