Description
UV light activates the photochromic ink on the laces, inducing the reversible colour change. Back indoors, away from UV light they change back to white again. A great reminder to stay out of the sun! Each lace is 110cm long.
Teaching ideas for colour changing UV shoelaces
- Try placing half of the shoelace in shade vs the half in the Sun.
- Test different suncream brands on the shoelaces.
- Place the shoelaces under a UV blacklight.

This was delivered safely and effectively, capturing both the children and the parents for the duration of the presentation.
