Leonardo da Vinci developed his concepts for a giant air screw late in the 15th century. This science kit is based on these drawings and the air screw model at the Da Vinci museum in Rome.

- Learn more about Leonardo Da Vinci’s work, from his paintings to his engineering ideas.
- Study the renaissance period and learn about this age of enlightenment.
- Can you draw a 3D machine? See if you can draw a version of the Da Vinci Helicopter once you’ve built it!
- Learn 3D design using a computer-aided design (CAD) program.
- Learn how engineers use blueprints to communicate information about a design to builders.
I just wanted to pass on how much the staff and students really enjoyed it and how perfect it was to launch our science week activities. The students were enthralled, educated and entertained – a perfect trifecta!

This was delivered safely and effectively, capturing both the children and the parents for the duration of the presentation.
-Macquarie Bank – Family Fun DayFizzics Education ran a show today at our school and it was wonderful. He was a great facilitator and the show was age appropriate and well done.
