Teaching ideas for a Balloon car racer toy
- Vary the size of the balloon and release the race car. Does a large balloon produce the fastest car or is the air too heavy? Which size balloon makes the car travel the farthest?
- Change the surface that the racer travels over. Compare carpet, floorboards, tiles, bricks, dirt and more. Chart the differences in car distance or speed – an opportunity for kids to learn histograms!
- Use the design of the race car to create your own racers out of wood. Perhaps you could 3D print a design?
